Frome Festival 2004 - FilmFrome

Frome Festival 2004 - FilmFromeIn 2004, FILMFROME aim to stimulate response and invoke participation, turning the experience and perception of the moving image from passive to active. FILMFROME are pleased to announce the inclusion of Rook Lane Chapel as an exciting and unique venue for film events in this year’s festival and thank the BFFS South West for donating the use of their cinema equipment for our Rook Lane events.

FILMFROME COMMUNITY DOCUMENTARY PROJECT

FILMFROME are delighted to welcome Paul Watson, the acclaimed filmmaker whose credits include The Family (1974), Sylvania Waters (1992) and The Fishing Party (1985) as ‘director-at-large’ for a unique community project in which we aim to create a documentary of Frome made by the local community.

Anyone can get involved in this exciting project, irrespective of age, background or experience, as free workshops will be organised on all aspects of documentary making. For further details contact the Festival Office (01373 453889) or see local press.
