It’s a String Thing - POSTPONED  

Open Dress Rehearsal (Event 1103) and Concert With Local Schools has unfortunately had to be postponed due to lack of funding.
Under this project local string players from Somerset Music’s Wider Opportunities programme would join with more advanced players from the Frome Community Learning Partnership and Bath Philharmonic for a unique concert of music written by Helen Ottaway; featuring Solo Violin, Sophie Langdon, Young String Players from Berkley First School, Christchurch, St. John’s First School, Oakfield School and Frome College.

Information about the project, including details of dates and venue, will be advertised through the local press and posted on www.artmusic.org.uk

Bob Ladd's wealth of experience of conservation in the area reveals that Frome once had many public houses, some next door to each other. This walk follows a route through historic Frome discovering pubs such as The King of Prussia or Doctor Andrews and finishes at The Griffin where you can disperse or buy yourself a pint.
