Frome Festival is celebrating the 200th anniversary of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's birth by including a series of events highlighting his life and achievements.

On the second Friday we present the story of Brunel's Bristol in the Songs and Music of his time. A lively illustrated talk by James Taylor, Ocean Liner Art, takes place at Marston House on Monday afternoon. Folk South West presents a series of four workshops, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, under the banner of Brunel 200, In the Footsteps of the Little Giant, during the first weekend.
