click here to return to full diary listingTellisford's pre-Domesday mill site was idle from 1912 until January 2007 when a new turbine began generating renewable energy. This run-of-river micro-hydro power plant exports electricity to the grid, producing upwards of 300,000kWh per year.

The tour will show the turbine, and footage of the mill and leat during reinstatement.
