Black Swan Arts: Gallery One

An exhibition of new work by textile artist Matthew Harris. It showcases his exploration of cloth, colour and texture, and shows how his love of imperfection informs his cloth pieces as each ‘whole’ cloth is created from sections.
To accompany his cloth pieces, there are a series of ‘drawings’ which are central to the creation of all his work.

'The Life and Times of Miss Smith' – an ordinary woman whose life is transformed by a chance encounter with an Angel – returns with new paintings by Diana Milstein. There will be jewellery from the time of Miss Smith as well as a full range of cards, some of which have now been published in a postcard book.

Frome Museum and the Frome Wessex Camera club present a photographic exhibition depicting the town centre and surrounding area from the turn of the 20th century to the present day. The museum’s store of archive photographs has been used as the historical source in providing the same pictorial views 50 years apart. The Frome Wessex Camera club has complemented this important historical record with images as we see them today.

Mel Day's work deals with man's relationship to the natural world. Finely crafted abstracted nature forms and new fugurative work. Annemarie Blake's oil paintings are inspired by street markets paying attention to conveying mood and atmosphere a particular place evokes.

Hidden away in the Trinity area of Frome is a unique collection of stained glass windows.
Designed by the pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones and made by William Morris and Co, the designs created between 1866 and 1896 cover Burne-Jones’ entire stained glass period.
The church will be open every morning during the festival, except Wednesday and Sunday, from 9.30-1.00, with tea and coffee being served.

A celebration of 'Urban Art' creating and showcasing local graffiti artists and graffiti artists from around the country. The art created during the 'Graffiti Artsibition' will be exhibited locally promoting the artist(s) then sold to raise money for local youth projects.
